What is a Children's Hearings
Sometimes the Children’s Reporter will arrange a special meeting to take place. This is called a Children’s Hearing.
A few other people go to the meeting and they all decide how to help the young person to stop behaving in a way that causes problems. These people are called Children’s Panel Members.
Sometimes they will decide that the young person and their family has to work with other people whose job is to help them look at why they behave the way they do.
