Guide to the Youth Justice System
Roll over the people at the table to find out who they are and what they do.
The Children’s Hearing is an official meeting which helps to decide how best to help children with problems. This can be children whose families are in need of help to look after them and children who have committed crimes. The meeting decides how best to help the young person to look at improving their behaviour.
Did you know...? Many young people don’t report a crime to anyone...they suffer in silence. You don’t have to!
